Staff were very friendly and informative. Decor and style of hotel is a little tired and in need of a facelift. Room was comfortable again in need of a refurb, dark furniture made it look darker than it could have been. Bathroom was fine.
We had a nice view from our room but my parents had a flat roof on the way.
Restaurant is very large, no real character. Waiting staff were great, very professional, helpful and friendly. Good was great!!
Breakfast was really good, adding some additional cut fresh fruit, nuts & seeds and yogurt options for the more health conscious, cooked breakfast was brilliant and good quality produce.
Coffee served in lounge was out of a machine and like dishwater, need to invest in a decent coffee machine and coffee. Pool & spa area was a lovely addition, I had a facial which was fantastic.
One problem for us that wasn t resolved was the disabled parking at the front of the hotel. I had 2 disabled parents with me and had to park in their carpark costing 25. On the second day a disabled space was taken up by a BMW owner with in a note on their dashboard staying at hotel I advised reception twice and they were unable to get a response from the guest to move it. Not good enough and it should be enforced that only blue badge holders can use the spaces
