"NOT IMPRESSED"

Our stay at the Lakeside Hotel and Spa was very disappointing. We arrived at noon, before official check in at 3.00 pm. Of course, the hotel receptionist said that our room wasn t ready but she d contact Housekeeping to request it was prioritised as we were already there. While we waited, we had a drink in the area beyond the Reception desk. After one hour I returned to ask if it was ready and it wasn t, so we then decided to have lunch in the Lakeview Conservatory to pass the time.

CG, North Yorkshire, stayed: June 2026 This was a Christmas present from my husband- sadly we were a little disappointed by the room as it was at the back and on both mornings we were woken up at 06:30 by recycling and rubbish collectors.

Lesley, West Yorkshire, stayed: May 2026 A lovely hotel if you want that bit extra. Staff always willing to help, unfortunately a little slow in actioning our requests. Always seemed to be a lot of staff around but as I say service can be slow.
