Head chef ,Richard Booth, is passionate about sourcing Cumbria's freshest seasonal produce and letting the flavours speak for themselves. All diets are catered for, and with a little bit of advanced warning, the team can be creative with your needs.
Steaks are a real speciality here, the classic Grill Restaurant serves steaks cooked on a charcoal barbecue in a sealed chamber; this gives it a unique flavour and retains the moisture. Rare breed steaks are served 7 nights a week.
The Terrace offers blissful al fresco dining when the weather allows.
If you love the view but would rather sit inside, the beautiful conservatory provides a safe haven whatever the weather. With stunning views across the lake and onto Gummer's How and neighbouring hills. You won't tire of people watching!
