Very disappointed with the menu in restaurant and overpriced, I got home to discover had to pay for drinks that night, with nobody telling me, had to call hotel to find out what money was taken from my card

I booked this as a birthday present getaway for me & my best friend. The hotel in the pictures online do not match the current state of the hotel. The hotel decor is tired, unloved and dirty in places. Despite booking months in advance, I ended up in a twin room adapted for a wheelchair user. So everything was at the wrong height. The extractor fan in the bathroom discharged black debris when it was running, all over the toilet or whoever was using the toilet. The waiting time for dinner was excessive - 90 minutes from ordering to eating, but the food when it arrived was delicious. The service in the restaurant was poor. Tables and dirty plates were not cleared in a timely fashion & if you asked for something, it seemed like it was an effort for the staff. The pool had very few chairs and loungers and most of those were without cushions. The spa was the only area that was luxurious. We have complained to the general manager & await his reply.

Found the restaurant dirty food very poor and the breakfast one of the worst I have had poor selection would not recommend anyone to eat there only stay for bed and shower the pool and hydro pool not clean round the edges you could see the dirt and grime it s not hygienic

The hotel was perfectly fine for a cheaper hotel, staff were nice, everything was clean, just a bit dated. New carpets and fresh paint would make a massive difference.
