Positives: very good Waterwheel restaurant food and service; friendly staff; plenty of parking; large superior room and very good bathroom
Negatives: swimming pool closed; our room at back of hotel suffered constant hum of traffic from A47 and accessed via a very unprepossessing back staircase; very tired bar/lounge/breakfast area not up to usual 4 star standard

Further to review above I would like to mention we've never had any complaints about noise from A14
The swimming Pool is complimentary and unfortunately was out of service because by policy we have to do a maintenance check.
The Breakfast room was newly decorated 1 year ago and it is a style of a countryside hotel.
