EM, Oxfordshire, stayed: October 2018 This hotel could be excellent but it is severely let down by the tatty rooms which badly need updating, especially the bathrooms. We really did not expect to have to stand in the bath to have a shower with a curtain! However, the staff are friendly and helpful and the restaurant is excellent with different choices each night. The breakfast was OK - the hot food was not particularly exciting. The hotel badly needs investment and modernising and the 'shabby chic' needs to be thrown out.

Anon, stayed: February 2019 We stayed at Orestone Manor as a birthday surprise for my partner. After reading TripAdvisor reviews and the description on their website I had high expectations, but I was left disappointed.

FT, Somerset, stayed: June 2019 Good location, excellent food and very pleasant and helpful staff. Coach house rooms have sea view however the balcony overlooks the rear car park. Main hotel is delightful and most certainly ideal for romantic short away breaks.

Michelle P, Essex, stayed: August 2020 I booked the hot tub offer but wasn t told that our room and hot tub would be located in a separate building to the hotel in the car park. Very disappointed.
