"Comfortable, quiet surroundings; excellent food and wine list"

Courteous and professional service in an quiet location with lovely views across Lyme bay. Two rosette dining would only need to take a few short steps to be vying for Michelin standard! Reasonably priced, local food featured and a good wine selection. Only criticism would be to de-clutter the rooms and public areas. Too many 'bits' that don't add value or style!

GHC, stayed: March 2020 A delightful room and excellent restaurant overcame any issues with the weather. Even a problem with the central heating was quickly resolved.

Nicholas, East Sussex, stayed: February 2020 We had an excellent 2 night stay at Orestone Manor. The staff were exceptionately friendly and helpful. The food was good with the venison being outstanding. Unfortunately Storm Dennis meant that exploring by car was virtually impossible. We will return in sunnier weather.

Anon, stayed: July 2020 Excellent stay, they have really thought about how to be covid-safe & still give a luxury feel. Room was stunning, dinners were excellent & staff friendly & helpful. Leave yourself plenty of time for breakfast though, I suspect it is slower than usual due to additional safety precautions but delicious & you don't want to miss out or feel rushed.
