We enjoyed our stay very much despite the awful weather with rain most of the time. We liked the position with scope for interesting walks and nice views.

Alison V, Devon, stayed: October 2020 gourmet break for our anniversary. staff were welcoming and helpful, organised flowers from my husband. The food was wonderful and we had a plate with anniversary wishes and truffles on the actual day. They were really well organised and safe with their covid systems.

AP, Devon, stayed: December 2020 An amazing break, really enjoyed the stay even if only short. All of the staff made us feel really welcome, a real nice break from the norm.

Vincent, Somerset, stayed: September 2021 Booked when a planned cruise was cancelled. It may have been 12 days short of the cruise duration but was really value for money. Even with the Covid-related changes, the service was exceptional and everything we were promised was delivered if not exceeded. This was a Golden Wedding holiday and a much needed break and the venue delivered in spades. As "geriatrics" with a bus pass the fact that a bus route was only a matter of a few hundred yards distant meant that the car only left the hotel once.
