"A lovely friendly hotel in a beautiful location."

My only complaint is that we only booked 2 nights! The whole experience was delightful, the staff were so friendly and helpful, the decor throughout the hotel was very pleasing and the bedroom was very clean and comfortable, the menu was excellent and the food was well presented and delicious!

Mary P, Surrey, stayed: February 2020 Everything was excellent for our stay, just one smal observation, the bedroom lighting. One reading light would be beneficial. Although one does not want all brights, the ability to have one to read by would be good.

Graham, Devon, stayed: November 2019 We only stayed for a couple of nights and it was excellent from start to finish. All of the staff were helpful and very pleasant. The room was exactly to our taste complete with bathrobes It was quiet as well which is always good. We really enjoyed the food and Don looked after us superbly- especially as my wife is both Coeliac and vegetarian which can be a difficult combination. The hotel has a sort of slightly worn charm that we just loved. We would certainly stay there again.

Graham, stayed: February 2020 We enjoyed a 2-day winter break here and we were very impressed with the comfort and quality of the hotel. The staff were most generous witht heir time and the food was quite exceptional. Overll, fantastic value.
