"An Excellent Choice"
David C, Somerset, stayed: September 2019 For a relaxed, friendly stay with excellent food, this family-run former manor house is an ideal choice. You are made to feel at home by staff who are both efficient and helpful.
"Orestone in Autumn"
DR, Oxfordshire, stayed: December 2019 My wife and I had first stayed in the Manor about thirty years ago and went back to see if anything had changed. Besides some extensions it was much the same. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was a good size well laid out and excellent for relaxing. The food was of a very good standard and well presented. Although we were the only guests on our second night everything was still carried out to a high standard.
"Thorough enjoyed our two night stay. Staff very friendly and food excellent"
Anon, stayed: November 2019"Warm welcome and comfortable surroundings"
SN, Suffolk, stayed: November 2019 We received a warm welcome on arrival and were escorted to our room. The room was a good size with a separate lounge area with chairs at the window overlooking Babbacombe Bay. The bed was comfortable. The restaurant has a good menu with all dietary options. Food was beautifully presented and promptly served. The wine selection was good with a wide range of prices and choices. The maitre dit was attentive and helpful. Staff were all pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel has some beautiful paintings and objects with lots of comfortable seating throughout. Highly recommend this for a comfortable and relaxing stay.
