"Overall a nice hotel"

The location is perfect however the room was very small. I did not receive my complimentary drink on arrival even though I asked. i was told that they would sort it out which they never did. this is one of the reasons for booking with Off Peak Luxury

Paul Liverpool, stayed: July 2020 I have always wanted to stay at this hotel, having driven past so many times heading for the mountains. We had an excellent room with views of the lake both to the north and the south. The restaurant provided an excellent dinner, the staff were very friendly and professional. It was a great pleasure to end the Lock down here. We used the ferry to visit Hawkeshead, walk round Tarn Hows and walk around in Ambleside. Just up the road is Holehird, a Cheshire Home with wonderful gardens carefully looked after by the local Horticultural Society.

CB, West Yorkshire, stayed: February 2020 Overall we enjoyed our three day stay at the hotel. We were very disappointed with the meals served in the dining room, The breakfasts were poor and we found it difficult to believe that a full English could be cooked so badly. Complaints to the staff about this were dismissed as they thought we were joking!
