We stayed at the lion quays for 2 nights in july. We booked through off peak luxury just the day after our wedding as a small break away. The price was a little high but we didn't mind at the time.
Once we got there the price tag was understandable.
The food was amazing, the staff couldn't do enough in the reasturant. Portions were of a good size and cooked and presented to a very high standard. Beautiful food!
Our room was lovely which lead out onto the bank side. Bardges we're going past which was lovely.
The bathrooms could do with an update but it was clean and had toiletries in.
We went the gym and spar both days and couldn't recommend this highly enough. Loads of variety in the gym and the pool was clean and warm.
We also added in dinner in the spa which was reasonably priced.
Breakfast had a amazing selection also.
Strawberries and champagne in the room was very romatic.
We do plan to go back.
