Excellent service and food. Very relaxing spa day.

I found when we went to the spa no one told us anything about it

This was definitely value for money, lovely lunch, the room is not luxury but it was very nice. The evening meal was great and the staff couldn't have done more fortune. Breakfast had plenty of choice and not rushed. My only issue was the thermal space is so noisy, there are no ambient lights in the water so it's difficult to see where you are walking and not walk into a step, the whole experience was relaxing apart from the spa where it is just too loud.

We booked a last minute spa deal with champagne on arrival which was billed at worth 70 but it was clearly a cheap alternative, however the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were fine, overlooking the canal which was nice to sit outside and be near. The bathroom was quite small but functional with a nicely pressurised shower. The food in the bar and restaurant is this places best kept secret with excellent quality and value. The menu choice was perfect, and the food cooked and prepared to a high standard. The bar and lunch menu is also plentful and went down very well after our long drive to get to the venue. The spa provided a much-needed few hours of R&R however I was surprised by the number of kids present which went some way to detract from the relaxation! Location is great for going out exploring neighbouring North Wales and overall this was good value for money, professional and relaxing but I was a bit disappointed with the quality of the champagne on arrival.

Rooms need updating, broken tiles, cracked sink.
