Every thing was fine - the so called Gourmet Restaurant was anything but in my opinion.
The breakfast was excellent as were daily snacks but the evening meals were not to my taste and not used by many of the guests. No lovely cuts of meat with lovely veg, gravy and yorkshire puddings, just dishes with the main items disguised with the dressings. I preferred to take the evening dinner in the Bistro where the meals were more plain and appetizing as against the so called Gourmet dining.
Only my opinion but then I may be old fashioned and like good wholesome meals. The Gourmet Restaurant menu was not diverse enough for a few days stay.
