Nearest picturesque location with warm and friendly staff we stayed in the Rosetta room which was very pleasing and comfortable we enjoyed the few days we stayed and would return again

Anne, Northumberland, stayed: December 2017 A beautiful hotel with fabulous walking routes made more wonderful in the snow. The room was perfect with a little turret corner furnished with a comfortable sofa. Bed was comfortable and a proper size.

HP, West Yorkshire, stayed: November 2017 This is a very welcoming hotel, the food served in the restaurant is delicious with plenty of choice including a full vegetarian menu and an extensive breakfast menu. The staff are helpful and attentive but not over fussing. The lounge provides many seating areas and is ideal to relax in after dinner with coffee.
