Lovely place and people, shame about the restaurant issues on one night.

It s a shame that but for one night, where we had to wait over two hours for our dinner (and it wasn t complete) this would have been a positive review, that s the trouble with this type of scoring.
We booked this as a couples two night break, we paid a bit extra for the room overlooking the golf course which even my non-golfing wife really enjoyed.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, even though they struggled when the kitchen were short staffed, even asking us for feedback about this when we checked out.
Food was good, just watch out for sausages that might have been in the warming try too long, and I particularly enjoyed the fish and chips.
Bar service depended a bit on the number of golf societies they might have in but even then didn t take too long to be served.
Great location to visit Orford an Aldeburgh and on the outskirts of Woodbridge.
I would definitely go back, perhaps to play golf next time and despite one problem would give the resort the benefit of the doubt.
