Good stay at the Skipton Hotel

Always enjoy the 2 nights at the Skipton - friendly staff, lovely refurbished restaurant. A good meal on the 1st night, just a shame we had a long wait for it.
We always book a canal side room for lovely views of the Leeds Liverpool canal & the countryside.
The rooms are gradually being refurbished, the older style rooms are still comfortable & there was a much needed fan. We asked for a small fridge, as we did last year. Last year it was free but we had to pay 10 which is a shame.
Overall a good break & we will definitely book again, specially if the offer includes a free bottle of wine!
