The hotel, reception, room, restaurant, facilities etc were excellent. The bathroom although functional needed refurbishment. Mold and mildew on mastic sealant. Rusty door hinges. Damaged door with poor repair. Scuff marks on skirting. Dings on shower upstand etc, etc. Water pressure excellent. Bit of a let down really.

This was our second visit to this hotel after enjoying it so much the first time. However the meal that we had in the restaurant was poor to say the least. It was not up to the standard we had received on our previous visit. The service was slow and the staff had to be asked numerous times before we got what we wanted. When the food arrived it was burnt and over cooked and not all edible. We complained to the reception and were told we would have to pay the excess to our meal which was part of the booking deal for the first night. The breakfast the first morning was rushed and was very little left as there was a wedding that day which took priority we presume. No complaints about the breakfast on the second day and needless to say we did not use the restaurant on the second night due to our experience on the first night
