History of the hotel
The Roseate Edinburgh has stood at the gateway to old-town Edinburgh since the 1860s. Variously occupied by merchants, musicians, doctors, distillers, bankers and newspapermen over the last 150 years, they have witnessed the evolution of modern-day Edinburgh. Dogs Policy
The Roseate Edinburgh generous layout includes both the Hampton House garden and Dunstane House's lawn terrace across the road, which will get our furry little friends plenty of space to run around or enjoy an alfresco drink altogether. Dogs are also welcome to join breakfast, dinner or drinks in the Hampton House conservatory.
Dogs are charged at £30 per night and 1 dog per room can be accomodated in Cosy Wee Doubles, please contact us for availability.
