"The Historic Old Swan"

We stayed at the Old swan as my wife is an Agatha Christie fan and always wanted to stay where she disappeared to all those years ago. Apart from its Christie link, the hotel is lovely in its own right. Fabulous dining room, relaxing bar and seating rooms, together with very helpful staff. The food was first class. This was our first time using Off peak luxury, and we will certainly be using again. Excellent value and no problems.

We love the Old Swan and we are regular visitors the room was nice with a huge bathroom , the bar and public areas are good. The breakfast was as always superb, but dinner in the restaurant was dreadful. I had a tasteless vegetable soup to start and the main course of chicken and leek pie with new potatoes was to my mind inedible. Eton mess for dessert was good. Next time we stay we will eat out.
