Didn't stay. Room wasn't deep cleaned very dusty. Very tired everywhere. Full of dogs. Apparently they are well known for dog friendly which is great if you love dogs. We were surrounded by dogs at dinner. It was a damp day. The smell was horrendous. Checked out although we were booked to stay one night. We had no idea this was a place full of dogs. We both have severe allergies and suffered for days afterwards. Why is it not clearly advertised about the dogs. E.mailed after we got back. No solution as yet. Great place if your dogs go everywhere with you. Do not go there if you have any allergies/ breathing problems. So disappointed as we travel around all year to the various Country hotels within the chain. Will not be continuing.

A very enjoyable couple of days; the hotel is always welcoming and relaxing. The food was not quite as good as usual, but generally a good time.

We had an overnight stay here to break up our journey home. We were really pleased to have found such a lovely hotel in a beautiful setting, down by the river Taw.

We chose Fox and Hounds as we have a dog, we were not disappointed! It was extremely dog friendly and he was allowed with us everywhere, we were not relegated to specific dog friendly areas and were made to feel very welcome, our dog (and us) loved it.
