The grounds
The Gardens designed by Walter Sorel extend over several acres with streams, a sunken garden, a profusion of shrubs, a huge rustic dovecote and a recently restored walled vegetable garden. There are timeless walks from the gardens along Madam's walk, on the banks of the river Lew and to the woods and beyond.
Does Lewtrenchard Manor allow dogs?
Your four-legged friend is more than welcome to stay with you in your room or suite (all rooms at the hotel are dog friendly) with extensive grounds, are the perfect place for well-behaved dogs to stretch their legs.
While they allow dogs in the public rooms on leads, providing other guests do not object, they kindly ask that they are not left unaccompanied in the bedroom unless caged. Please note that dogs are not permitted in the restaurant or the walled vegetable garden.
The charge is £20 per dog, per night and includes:
- A friendly welcome
- Comfy dog bed for use during their stay

- A Hound Bag tote filled with useful accessories for your stay, including a tennis ball, poo bags, dog treats and a walking map featuring routes local to the hotel
