From delicious dinners to magnificent Sunday roasts, Head Chef Josh Mann has won 3 AA Rosettes for his modern British menu, which features fresh ingredients from our own walled garden and the very best of local Sussex meat and fish.
Split across three rooms, Camellia has an intimate feel with its wooden panelling and country house décor. In the summer months the restaurant spills out onto the terrace for anyone who fancies a bit of alfresco dining.
The Camellia serves a Little Lodgers menu for younger guests.

Monday to Saturday – 6.30pm - 8.30pm. Last orders at 8.45pm
Lunch

You're welcome to enjoy the full seven-course experience Wednesday to Sunday, which usually takes around three unhurried hours.
If you're looking for a shorter visit, the five-course menu is available on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays (excluding Bank Holiday weekends). Please note, the restaurant welcomes diners aged 12 and above.
At The Pass, every dish is a finely tuned creation, crafted over days with the very best ingredients Chef can source. This means they are sadly unable to adapt menus for complex special dietary requirements. For a vegan or dairy-free meal at South Lodge, try Botanica or Camellia.
Opening times: Wednesday to Sunday - 6.30pm to 8.15pm.
Botanica is South Lodge's dairy-free, zero-waste restaurant, offering a Mediterranean-inspired menu with a plenty of plant-based dishes to choose from as well as meat and fish options. The Head chef has compiled his dishes using the South Downs as his personal larder.
As the spa restaurant, Botanica has a warm, relaxed atmosphere. You're more than welcome to eat in your robes until the dinner service at 5.30pm.
