Access to the mezzanine is via a retractable ladder – not one for the faint-hearted . Given the lack of childproofing in the mezzanine, this home is not suitable for small children . The ceiling height is lower than average in some parts of the mezzanine so our taller guests should mind their heads. Although the bedroom is on a different level, there is no door or wall separating them so it's not the most private set-up. The apartment is on the fourth floor without lift access
