This home has all the modernity and style we’ve come to expect from a city loft. Formerly a railway company office, huge, warehouse-style windows fill the place with natural light and the double-height living room is a big open space made for socialising. A mix of pendant lamps and sparkling chandeliers blend industrial-chic with pure Parisian grandeur and we love the quirky touches like graffiti-style art on the wall and a film reel lamp on the coffee table.

Ceilings in the kitchen and bathroom are a little low so you may have to bend if you are tall. One of the bedrooms has skylights for light, and the other only has an internal window . Although the WC is separate from the bathroom, it is accessed through the bathroom. Your host can arrange for a baby's bed or inflatable mattress to be set up, just ask. The shower is a hand-held shower over the bathtub. There's a laptop-friendly workspace . You'll be able to self-check-in with a lockbox .
