This cosy studio with a mezzanine bedroom is a lesson in how small-space living can be fabulous and fun. Admittedly this (reduced) amount of space will not suit everyone, but a solo traveller or couple looking for a base for a short trip will find it a great match. And despite the petite size, there are some very special touches that are guaranteed to enchant you.
You'll find a projector for romantic movie nights in, and a decorative marble fireplace that provides old-world charm. However, our favourite room has to be the bathroom – it features a striking stone basin and a sumptuous rainfall shower under a skylight. The surrounding neighbourhood is full of theatres and lively bars – it's authentically Parisian and bursting with style and fun.
You can also walk to Montmartre in less than twenty minutes, and the nearby metro station will bring you to the centre of Paris in less than twenty minutes.

This home is on a third floor with no lift so pack light and come ready to climb some stairs. Overall, it's a very compact space so it would only suit those who are happy with that. Its kitchenette is on the basic side – there's no oven or dishwasher so it's not one for aspiring chefs. The bed consists of a mattress on the floor and no frame, so it's very low . There's no TV but there is a projector, a DVD player and a small film collection. There are no laundry facilities in this home
