If you're a group of three or four, you'll want to travel light, as the sofa bed in the living room leaves little room to move around when open. Your host can provide a cot for little ones. You'll need to climb a flight of traditional Parisian stairs to reach the apartment – there's no lift. The apartment faces inward onto the building's courtyard rather than the street, which keeps things wonderfully quiet but also means natural light is limited. It can feel quite dark during the day. Parking in Paris can be challenging, so we recommend arriving by public transport where possible. The RER B from Charles de Gaulle Airport connects easily to the neighbourhood, and two metro lines are within a five-minute walk.
