This bright and welcoming apartment is a lovely base for a couple or a solo traveller in Paris. We love the location in the heart of Montmartre, just a kilometre from Sacré Coeur and the Moulin Rouge. Yet it’s tucked away in a tree-lined courtyard, so feels peaceful. The stairs to the mezzanine-level bedroom are on the steep side, and the bedroom itself isn’t very private.
But for a pleasant place to rest your head in between seeing the sights, we think this is a great choice.

There are stairs to climb at this home, so it may not be suitable for those with reduced mobility. Given the home's central spot, expect to hear some street noise throughout your stay. If you're travelling for work, you won't find a dedicated desk here. However, the small dining table doubles up as a laptop-friendly workspace. We think the kitchenette is better suited to preparing light bites, rather than full meals. You’ll have your pick of Montmartre’s eateries on your doorstep though. The bedroom is at mezzanine level above the open-plan living, dining and kitchen space. Privacy is limited. The courtyard here is shared with the residents of the other apartments.
