"Luxury with peace and quiet."
TB, West Midlands, stayed: May 2017 Excellent hotel, our room had a large balcony overlooking superb gardens. The whole hotel was spotless with large lounges and a sun terrace. We stayed h/b, breakfast was perfect and the choice for dinner at night was from two menus from which you could pick and mix. Particular praise for the Latvian waitress who was very professional and courteous working both morning and evening shifts with a smile. If you didn't want to make the 5 minute drive to Torquay (parking expensive) a bus service is available on the main road about 400 metres away. One word of warning don't try walking to the pub down the road towards the sea, the walk back is a killer!
"WOW!!!"
Nigel H, Middlesex, stayed: August 2017 I can best summarise this review by my wife's comments once we got back home "it was lovely, superb, met every expectation I had from the website". Our expectations from the website were exceedingly high and I have to concur with my wife that Orestone Manor met these expectations in full.
"Orestone Manor"
RP, Avon, stayed: June 2017 A lovely hotel with helpful staff, great food and ideal for a romantic break we had some of the worst weather this year but it did not spoil our stay and we will go back again in the future.
"Great time"
Susan L, Hampshire, stayed: August 2017 We had a lovely couple of days. The hotel has great views from the terrace over the sea. Our room was on the top floor and had a roof terrace to sit out on,the stairs to this floor are quite steep. The food was excellent with plenty of choice at all times, even during their busy Sunday lunch time it was no problem for them to just do us a snack. The staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. The walk to the the beach is quite challenging and very steep and hard work coming back up.
"An outstanding stay."
Geoff H, Cambridgeshire, stayed: June 2017 A lovely hotel, small calm and classy. The coach house is the room to stay in if you can. Lovely staff, great food.
