Arrived in the late afternoon after a bit of a stressful drive from South Wales on the rain. Struck by the lack of staff but made up by the very helpful and friendly receptionist. Because of Covid you could tell the hotel was understaffed but this did not spoil our overall experience. We quickly settled in and had a lovely tea with a delicious berry cake. The room was very comfortable.Dinner was excellent especially my crab martini and the lovely skate that both my wife and I had to eat.
The only negative was the steep hill adjacent to the hotel which as we are both getting on a bit meant it was difficult to walk to the beach.
