Having stayed here before, as soon as we walked in through the door we felt very welcome. The staff were very helpful and after checking in we enjoyed drinks on the terrace with friends we were meeting there, nothing was too much trouble. They even gave us an anniversary card. Our room was comfortable and had the added extra of a roof terrace. On both evenings we enjoyed excellent three course dinners in the restaurant with a different menu each night and there were freshly cooked breakfasts with a wide choice on offer. With the terrace, bar and lounge there are plenty of places to relax and unwind. A lovely family run hotel. We would highly recommend this hotel.
