A lovely break.

We spent five nights at this hotel owned by the head chef and his wife. Their staff, which includes two sons, are very helpful and there is a really friendly ambience in the hotel. We had a huge bedroom and large bathroom. Unfortunately the weather prevented us using the balcony but we had a view of the sea, which was limited by the beautiful trees in the garden. The turn off the road from Teignmouth is very tight and we found it safer to drive on for about 1.1/2 miles to a roundabout, then approach from Babbacombe. In this way we easily could turn into Rock House Road.
The food at the hotel was superb, delicious and beautifully presented. The menu was well balanced with some changes most days. It was difficult to make a choice!! The food would justify a return visit.
