Paradise!

We had booked the "Hot Tub Heaven Break" as this was the only room available for our dates. We weren`t really too bothered about having a hot tub, but when we were shown to our room we were blown away. Private terrace with sunbeds, chairs and table, large hot tub, wonderful views through the trees to the sea. The room was large, the bed enormous, everything perfect, even the weather!
The hotel`s public rooms were beautiful and welcoming, from the pretty outside terrace through to the conservatory, lounges and restaurant.
Food at both dinner and breakfast was exceptionally good, and it was nice that the dinner menu changed each day. We were always spoilt for choice.
Staff were friendly and professional, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is a little awkward to get to down a narrow Devon lane. We tried not to use our car too much whilst we were there and found that there was a good bus service at the top of the road. It was a pleasant ride to both Torquay or Teignmouth. I would also recommend a visit to the lovely village of Shaldon, on the Teign estuary.
Thanks to OPL for managing to find us this holiday at fairly short notice.
