My husband and I only stayed one night, but we will be going back for more! From the moment we checked in and were shown to our beautiful room to the time we checked out, nothing was too much trouble for the attentive, friendly staff. We had pre dinner drinks in the sunny garden , then the most delicious three course meal although to our delight the courses were interspersed with amuse-bouche, so leave plenty of space! We had coffee and liquors in the lounge over a board game. In the winter there is a lovely fireplace you can sit in front of! Breakfast was a Buffett choice of continental cold options plus a hot menus with lots of choices. The plates coming out of the kitchen looked amazing! As we were going out for lunch we opted for the continental option! Our bedroom was a junior suite Harbourne, it was one when you walk in you say wow! On the second floor, we were in the apex of the roof with beautiful exposed beams and stone. The room was large with a claw foot bath in the bedroom (yes you can see the tv from it!) and the en-suite bathroom had a good sized shower. Toiletries were yummy (and can be purchased at reception) there were robes and slippers provided. The bed was huge and so comfy, a large kettle and mugs with a range of tea, plus a coffee pod machine and a jug of fresh milk in your fridge. Ohh and don t forget the homemade shortbread biscuits! Will we be back? Yes! Would we recommend to family, friends and anyone reading? Yes!
This little gem of a hotel gets a 10/10 from us!
