Everything about this superb hotel was of the highest standard. The setting, adjacent to the river Teign, created a peaceful and relaxing environment. Our Junior Suite provided for all of our needs, including a private parking space, lovely decked terrace with steps down to a manicured lawn, bounded by mature trees with the river beyond. The hotel, a converted water mill, was immaculate, clean, tidy and welcoming. The front of house staff were friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The food was of the highest standard, freshly cooked to order and beautifully presented. With Dartmoor National Park surrounding us there were plenty of good walking opportunities to enjoy. We cannot praise this venue highly enough and look forward to visiting again.

Loverly small hotel but we were a little disappointed with the food which was focusing more on the appearance than the flavour in our opinion.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant really was excellent. It is easy to go off on many walks from the hotel particularly along the River Teign. The hotel is far enough but not too far from the A30.

It was a wonderful hotel in a great location with great service. Food was fantastic catering really well for dietary requirements.
