We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is incredibly beautiful and are in over 90 acres of parkland that one can explore. The food was superb. Beware though: we added afternoon tea to our stay, and this plus wine and dinner (the deal gives a contribution only) came to an extra 170. We ate out at the bugle horn on the second night, which was a lot better than the reviews suggest
The rooms are a touch dated. The mattress could do with being modernised, these are minor points to a lovely place to stay.
Beware. The courtyard rooms are a distance away from the main house so don t stay there if you have mobility issues.
The spa was excellent
All in all a lovely place to stay and we d certainly go back again.
