Lovely hotel in beautiful setting.

This was a return visit and we enjoyed it all over again. We were due to stay one night but liked it so much we stayed a second and were upgraded to a gorgeous four poster room at the front of the hotel.

Only disappointing thing was the restaurant. Hardly anyone was in there for the evening meal but the three couples that were were crowded together. One man was so loud and opinionated that in the end we all ate in silence. The food choices weren't very good and the meal was also disappointing. Another couple left theirs and asked to talk to the chef. No ambience at all but a beautiful room and courteous staff.
