Disapointing

The staff were the only 5 star part of this experience. They upgraded our accommodation which was excellent. The cuisine was very disappointing - small portions of over rich food and disappointing breakfasts too. The first morning wife ordered poached egg and bacon and that s what she got - one egg and one small slice of bacon! Grounds and views are lovely but the building and interior need some refurbishment. Overall poor value for money. (We had a better Sunday lunch at the local gastro
Pub opposite). Embarrassing because this weekend was a birthday gift from my wife. This may seem a negative review but can only compare the experience with that of similar 5 star establishments at the same price
