My daughter is heavily pregnant and staff were very considerate, even letting us into our suite early so she could rest. The house and grounds are very beautiful and the restful atmosphere ( you are requested not to use mobile phones in most of the public areas) is truly restorative. The food was excellent, as were our spa treatments. We lazed by the pool and thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. Most of all, the quiet professionalism and thoughtfulness of the staff makes it a place we shall certainly return to.

A wonderful welcome and introduction to Hartwell House by Ethan. The Lee Suite was spacious to say the least. We chose it because many of the bedrooms at Hartwell only offer a shower above a bath.
