We had a lovely room and huge bathroom done out very nicely. Attention to detail when servicing the room could be improved a little.
The restaurant is very nice but we thought the food was overpriced and not quite up to the standard they appear to be aiming for or what we expected for the cost. The menu never changed over our three night stay so out of boredom we ate in the bar on the last evening.
The gardens are beautiful and a drink in the sunshine on the terrace very enjoyable. Although off the beaten track it is not far from the main attractions so the location was good for us.
