Should the car park be full on arrival to the hotel, there are two large public car parks to the rear of the hotel which our guests can use.

Unfortunately there is no lift at the property. Ground floor rooms have 6-8 steps to access.

History of the hotel
Alnwick dates back to about AD 600. Over the centuries it has thrived as an agricultural centre. It is the location of Alnwick Castle and home to the most powerful medieval northern baronial family, the Earls of Northumberland. It serves as a staging post on the Great North Road between Edinburgh and London. The White Swan was originally built as an inn for weary travellers heading north and south, and has been offering warm hospitality for generations.
