There are 27 free car parking spaces located at the rear of the hotel on a first come first served basis. Should the car park be full on arrival to the hotel, there are two large public car parks to the rear of the hotel which our guests can use. It is free of charge to park in these public car parks 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Child Policy
The hotel offers family rooms that provide flexible sleeping arrangements to suit you with double and single beds. The spacious suites, which make the most of the hotel's tall windows and period features, have a separate seating area with comfortable chairs and sofas. Supplements for these rooms and charges for extra beds will apply. Children are charged £6.95 for breakfast.
History of the hotel
Alnwick dates back to about AD 600. Over the centuries it has thrived as an agricultural centre. It is the location of Alnwick Castle and home to the most powerful medieval northern baronial family, the Earls of Northumberland. It serves as a staging post on the Great North Road between Edinburgh and London. The White Swan was originally built as an inn for weary travellers heading north and south, and has been offering warm hospitality for generations.
Dogs Policy
Dogs are accepted in selected Classic rooms. Dogs are not permitted in the Olympic Restaurant, but may dine with you in Hardy's Bistro.
