Stayed for a 2 night weekend break to meet up with good friends, arrived at the hotel and checking in was fast and efficient, met our friends on the terrace and had some drinks.
We were booked in for the 2 night meal deal break which included dinner in the AA restaurant, the food was superb with plenty of choice, on our 2nd night we wanted to sit outside on the terrace as the weather was gorgeous and they allowed us to swap to the terrace menu up to the value of 40 per person which was great, and again plenty of choice.
The rooms are lovely and big with very comfy bed, the only issue was they were extremely hot which is not the hotels fault as the weather was 30+ degrees, but with our English climates changing, I think the hotel will need to think about installing air con or some sort of units as the fan provided just didn't do anything.
There were around 3 evening events on each night we were there and the hotel is run superbly with plenty of staff who were very attentive, helpful and friendly.
The grounds are stunning and the hotel was just really lovely.
Didn't use the Spa's so can't comment on that, but we all enjoyed our stay and said we would return back again.
