Hotel was gorgeous. Delightful little bar and relaxing outside terrace, great for a drink or coffee. Grounds were beautiful and hotel was really peaceful. The breakfast was excellent and the massage at the Spa was very good.
Couple of points for improvement: we stayed at the hotel during the recent heatwave and had a room without aircon due to the room being in the listed part of the property. When we arrived there was a tiny desk fan in the room. We arrived at 6pm and the fizz in the room was sitting in water so asked for fresh ice.Would have been good to have a few larger fans (which arrived several hours later). Given the heatwave, the one bottle of water in the room was not adequate. Much of the dinner menu was additional cost despite the dinner being part of a package.
Despite the above points, would definitely stay there again!
