A family member purchased me 3 nights away here, including breakfast and dinner. Initially I thought the price was extortionate for what it was. But the whole experience blew me away. The hotel itself is secluded in the countryside and the staff are very attentive. The food was exceptional, the breakfast is buffet style with delicious pastries... lots of options on the pastries. The meal was situated in the Garden resturant, a 3 course meal per person would have been about 70 excluding drinks, but this was included in the deal. The food itself was brilliant, the flavours GREAT, lovely presentation , and the variety was sufficient. You would get bored if you stayed there for a week as the menu is concise. The room was also very nice. Overall the value for money, although it seems pricey, is very good value

I booked an accessable executive room as I needed a walk- in shower however we found that the shower was not working at all.

Superb hotel the staff were brilliant from the ground staff to management every thing was so relaxing

...but the staff are under trained , the evening meal offering is limited, to the point I only had a main course. The rooms are dated and full of limescale around the taps and shower head. Also the bottles of soap where empty. - very poor
