We recently stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon. On check in we were sent to the wrong floor for our room. We stayed in an executive room which was lovely and big and at first glance seemed wonderful but it soon became obvious it wasn't. There was thick dust on surfaces, dead bugs in the light fittings, dirty mirrors especially in the wardrobe, dirty hand rail in bathroom and the bedside lamp didn't work. The decor was quite shabby and tired. The breakfasts were lovely but the evening meals were a joke. We had to send 2 of them back because the pork was so under cooked it was bloody. It was also £11 for a glass of house wine. With only 8 tables being used the restaurant couldn't cope. We did have a good time but the cleanliness of the room let it down
