History of the hotel
Cowley Manor is one of the most famous buildings in the country. This is partly because of its Italianate exterior which is rare for a grand stately home. Based on the Villa Borghese in Rome and echoing the architecture of Chatsworth and Cliveden, the Main House at Cowley was designed by R.A. Briggs to showcase this new style of country living.
All in the Stables, there are two Better Rooms and four Exceptional Rooms that are perfect for your pooch. With direct access to the garden from the bedrooms, they are the perfect place to relax with the whole family, pooch included.
There is a charge of £25 per night for four-legged guests which includes a dog bed, water bowl, and doggy treats.
