History of the hotel

Overlooking the market square in the historic town of Witney, The Blue Boar dates back to the 17th century. For 200 years, this Cotswold coaching inn bore the name of The Marlborough in honour of the Duke before its original name was restored when it reopened its doors in 2011. 

Dogs Policy

Dogs are permitted in selected standard rooms, dog friendly rooms are situated in the courtyard away from the main hotel.

Dogs are charged at £20 per dog per night. Please contact us if a dog friendly room is required.

Dogs are not allowed in the restaurant but are allowed in the bar area.
