Some good, some not so good!

This is a lovely period building, beautifully maintained, and in a fine location just up from Rozel harbour. We did enjoy our stay, but as an elderly couple wish that we had been prewarned about the climb from the road to the hotel. Our room was on the third floor so we were bushed by the time we got to it! The room was spacious, warm and comfortable, but with the ceiling sloping down over the bath the shower attachment was redundant as it was impossible to stand up.
The restaurant served some excellent meals, but was closed one evening when we had to eat in the nearby pub. Although the food there was satisfactory, we were seated at a small table in a very crowded saloon bar, and felt uncomfortable.
The local bus service was great, and cheap
Apart from those grouches, overall we enjoyed our visit. The hotel staff were excellent, friendly and helpful.
