A few issues are extremely poor and frustrating. 1/.flushing toilet - pushing in the button, it needs at least three pushes up to 10 times. 2/. Metal carpet grip between room and toilet, metal pins are piercing out, many times it injured my feet especially during night time without shoes. 3/. Big toilet room, with independent luxurious bath tub in one side of the room, there is NO HOOKS nor stool(units) to put towel or clothing , other than floor. Terrible. There is no extra items in the bathroom to pamper in the wedding suite - bubble bath/scent etc. except wall mount soap dispensers. 4/. Toilet rolls is the worst, I have seen, thin and small and hard- terrible terrible. I have brought these information truefully directly to the General Manger on the last morning breakfast time.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The hotel is in a good location. We spent a great day out exploring the Yorkshire Sculpture Park which is only 10 minutes drive away.

A lovely 3 night stay. The staff are great and the food really good, portion sizes are huge.

We booked a last-minute overnight stay on the night prior to us attending a funeral nearby. We had a great package deal which included gin spritz cocktails on arrival, bottle of wine in the room, dinner, bed and breakfast. On arrival we found we d been upgraded from the Lakeside annex rooms to one of the bedrooms in the main hotel. The room was not massive but had everything we needed with a nice view across the lawns. The staff were lovely, very welcoming, helpful. The food was delicious. We did not get to sample the full English breakfast as we were still full from the night before so just had a bowl of their lovely porridge.
