2nd time staying at the Skipton hotel through offpeak luxury

This hotel has a fabulous location with excellent bus service into Skipton on the doorstep or take a walk along the canal .
The staff are great and some long standing ones we remembered from our last visit . The rooms have had a mini makeover with new curtains and reupholstered chairs.
We had our complimentary bottle of wine with the dinner in the hotel restaurant, the starters were lovely but we were both disappointed with the main courses , not upto the same presentation and standard of our previous visit .
We had drinks in the bar afterwards , prices very reasonable .
Breakfast buffet each morning was great with as much as you wanted with a fab view from the conservatory.

We would return to the Skipton Hotel, you cannot beat it for location and views with lovely staff .
